A Letter From Our Owner:

​My name is Rory Forinash.  I opened Thunder Discount Drug 13 years ago, and we have operated in our current space ever since.  As with any business, there have been challenging times and incredibly rewarding times.  Our physical location has been so entwined with our identity that it has seemed impossible that we would ever operate anywhere else.  Over the past two years, however, as we have gained the trust of more patients, it became obvious that there is simply not enough space to serve our patients as we would like to.  I am excited to share the address of our new space:

While this is 4 miles from our current location, I believe that it will allow us to serve our patients better than ever.  We will be able to expand our lab space, provide better parking for patients, and alleviate the parking lot congestion that has been a source of frustration.  We also wanted to keep the things we have always liked about our location, such as accessibility from I-35 and drive-thru access.  

Accompanying my excitement is a degree of trepidation.  I would be naïve to think that everyone will like this move.  I want to reassure everyone that there will be no fundamental difference in how we run our pharmacy or how we take care of our patients.  We will continue to make free local deliveries.  We will continue to serve our community with a servant mindset.  If there is any circumstance that we need to overcome to keep serving you the way we always have, please let us know.  

We will communicate the specific move date as we get closer, but we are targeting late September/early October.  There will be very little downtime when we make the move; we will close at 6:00PM on a Friday at our current location, and be open for business at our new location by 9:00AM Monday morning.
